Just Brew It

If you saw my previous post, “Exclusive BTS from a Girlboss” then you saw what it’s like being me. No two days are the same. I have posted other pictures on my Instagram feed and Twitter feed – showing you some other behind the scenes stuff.
I was all set to do another one but instead I decided to just talk frank with ya about what I am up too. There are many hats that I wear each day. Today for example I had a meeting with someone who is going to help my businesses succeed at a different level. The other day I had a meeting with someone who helped me organize some business ideas. Now what I need to do is a complete overhaul with my websites, blogs, shop, social media platforms and organize them appropriately so they all don’t run into each other. The only social media platform that will basically stay the same with the type of posting that I do will be Instagram – but I am changing up the Bio. I have separate IG accounts for books, which I don’t use that much, Cheer, which I don’t use that much and now my coffee IG account. I have a few Facebook fan pages that need an overhaul – completely and my shop on one of the Facebook pages along with my shop on 1 of my websites will be getting a complete makeover.
I just finished doing a photo-shoot at a fast food chain that I am representing on IG and will also put stuff on Twitter. Oh yes, My twitter bio needs to be redone as well plus I have other sites that I use to make money from that need to be organized to do 1-2 things not 5-6 things. What I notice is that when you overload customers with thousands of options they don’t purchase from you. Therefore you need to separate things and have certain sites do certain things.
Also, you need to have a strategy with everything you present online.
My podcast and my radio show has changed over time. It started as just talking about social media platforms and how they work and ideas for businesses to create engaging content and it exploded with talking about trends in the digital landscape , things everyone is talking about on social media, and athletes usage of social media ( which has become a top topic)
So today, I am doing my radio show “The Sassy Show” On my Facebook page at 3pm EST time, then spending quality time with my nephew, niece and brother (hopefully my sister-in-law too!) Tomorrow I have my networking meeting at 7am. I am the educational coordinator of the group. After that I have to set up Facebook content for clients and we have my mom’s retirement luncheon. Then I will take the rest of the day to myself.
Saturday and Sunday I will spend time organizing platforms, websites, and such. But I also will take time for myself. It is the summer time and you need to enjoy yourself. Monday it’s back to the grind.
There ya go folks. A behind the scenes in writing- not video or pictures. ( I though will post videos and pics on social media this weekend BTW)
Everyone always says to me, “It must be so nice to be your own boss.” My answer to that loaded statement is quite simple: No it isn’t. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I get to do what I love to do and do it on my own terms. But what people don’t see and don’t know is that it takes ALL of me to do it day in and day out. No two days look the same.
For my new series ( here on the blog and on Instagram and Twitter) I will show you pictures and videos of me being the “girlboss” that I am.
Now, I start out most days the SAME way with Prayer, working out and feeding my squirrels and birds. The only day that I have off from working out is Friday.

With Easter and my birthday just around the corner, we have some egg-cellent deals on for the first lucky 10 shoppers!

LOOK 👀 for some exciting 🎉 #giveaways coming up in April to celebrate my #birthday 🎂
2020 is all about the podcasts. I have had a radio show that I have done for the past 3 years. It’s broadcasted on the radio station’s website and also I record it LIVE on Facebook. Then I save the video and put the replay on my Youtube channel. It’s called #TheSassyShow
The other podcast I do, #SassyNation was originally a recap or a preview of what #TheSassyShow was going to be about or what was about, but then the pandemic happened and it turned into another podcast all together. On this one I use Zoom to record the audio (there is NO video needed for this podcast) then transfer it to a sight called Anchor, add a few sponsor segments and BOOM- it has become it’s very own podcast.
Now, I will share the links for all these at the end but if you looking to expand your brand, get your voice heard or even if you want to try to become the next social media star, a podcast can do that for you.
Like I said, I use #Facebook #Youtube for the first one and #Zoom #Anchor for the second one. You can also use #IGTV and create your own series there too! Oh, did I forget to mention that it costs me $0.00 to do this?! I don’t have any expensive equipment. I don’t have any professional, nor do you need it. All you need is a an iphone or itouch, and a laptop with a built in camera and microphone. That’s it. The topics I discuss on my shows are wrapped around social media, athletes, sports, and tips as to how to use platforms (with also breaking news on changes to each social media platform)
To listen to mine here are some links:
To subscribe to my Youtube Channel – Here you will also get videos I created from coaching Cheerleading, relationship advice, AND updates to my projects besides just #TheSassyShow
Sassy Nation – My special ed about #NYJets ( by the way I curse, so don’t be surprised lol)
If you would like to be a sponsor or support the podcast you can do so here: Support

Facebook Messenger already had video chat functionality, but it was limited both in the total number of people allowed to participate, and also in its requirement that all of them have a Facebook account.
With the new Messenger Rooms, that changes. First up, you can host video chats of up to 50 people, and those who don’t have a Facebook account can still join – they’ll receive a link to the Room you have created. With one click they can then join the conversation – just like with Zoom. Importantly, Messenger Rooms has no time limit whatsoever.
If you join a Room through the Messenger app, then you can play with AR effects and new features like immersive backgrounds and mood lighting. The creator of a Room chooses who can see and join it, and can remove anyone from the call at any time, as well as lock the Room if they don’t want anyone else to enter. And you can of course leave a Room whenever you want. Rooms you create through a Facebook Group are open by default to members of that Group. Facebook emphasized that the person who creates the room controls who can join, who sees the room, and if new people can join at all—a knock at Zoom, Messenger Rooms lets users invite up to 50 people, even those without Facebook accounts, to both public and private video chat rooms for free and with no time limit. Facebook is adding a new feature that lets users video chat with up to 50 people, a direct challenge to video conferencing apps Zoom and Houseparty.
Messenger Rooms is rolling out “in some countries” this week, and will expand globally “in the coming weeks”.
Facebook said it will also expand its Facebook and Instagram livestreaming features. Instagram users, for example, will now be able to post their livestreams to IGTV, giving followers a longer time window to watch livestreams after they’ve been recorded.
