It’s a Waste Of Money To Shop At VS

If you are a woman, you probably have shopped or still shop at Victoria’s Secret. And if you are like me, you are tired of wasting money buying their panties that no longer seem to be made with good quality material. You buy it, wear it twice, and then have to throw it out because washing them has now made them shrink to the point where they are unwearable.
I was on the mission to find other sexy, lacy, cute and comfortable panties, and I think I did.

The brand that I found to be reasonably priced, comfortable, sexy and cute is Auden which is sold in Target.

The Top 5 Trends for Fall Fashion 2024

Wherever your fall fashion may take you, you can add some stylish staples to your closet without breaking your budget. The days are passing by quickly and fall is almost upon us, so we thought we would take a moment and share some of the new fall trends of the season.

One of the biggest trends for the Fall of 2024, is the use of voluminous outerwear made of faux fur, feathers, fabric, or yarn. Also snuggly and stylish, ski sweaters aren’t only for the slopes anymore.
Fashion from decades past comes and goes, and this season, the ’60s just called and are back with all things mod, turtlenecks, baby doll dresses, The micro-mini and the swing coat, among other pieces of fashion that you will see making a comeback this fall.
This year will we see extravagant collars as last year we saw big sleeves (which are still in fashion this year but the emphasis will be on the collar!)
Beyoncé has magic powers,even when it comes to fashion. With her latest album, Cowboys Carter, she has brought back the style of wearing cowboy hats, fringe everything and cowboy boots. So it’s safe to say, western dressing is here to stay no matter if you live on the East Coast, West Coast, or down South.
And finally, one of my favorite looks, is making a comeback and that is leopard print everything. Your wardrobe basics can be a little edgier, making them some of the most versatile and hard-working pieces., with leopard print. You can have heels, boots, sneakers, jackets, shirts, dresses and even pants that will become your stand out pieces. I still have a leopard jacket from the early 2000’s that I love to wear from timeout time, not to mention sneakers and heels.

They have the cutest dresses and not to mention some really nice gifts for every occasion.

Get lost in paradise in the hottest looks. They have on trend dresses, cute lounge wear and have FREE CITY sweatshirts which have to be the softest I have ever felt and most luscious. The service is also remarkable.

Tia Maria Boutique located at 104 Maple Ave, New City, NY

I have so many cute and trendy pieces from her boutique. The clothing and accessories she has in her boutique are causal and semi-dressy clothing as well as the cutest sweaters, sweatshirts and rompers. Tia is amazing as is her service.

Maria Luisa Boutique located at 77 South Broadway, Nyack NY

Maria Luisa has footwear to clothing and more. They have many of the regular fashion staples with the focus on global/ethical products. It really is a great mix, not to mention they also have a good selection of gifts.
The people who work here bring great energy and a great vibe!

Shop Untitled, located at 27 W 8th Street, New York City

They have a lot of different designer brands from desert warrior to punk fashion. IN other words, their clothing selection is amazing! Super cute and comfortable items to chose from. Super friendly staff and very clean.

There are MANY others to shop at but these are my ultimate favorites!

So whatever your style is, the Fall is planning to not only be about cooler days, but also about making all of us look cooler in every way!

Buying Lingerie for Christmas? Here’s a hack. You’ll thank me later.

2 days left shopping and I can bet your bottoms that the mall is filled with men trying to figure out what to get their wives, girlfriends, or partners. Besides, Valentine’s Day, the other holiday that guys buy lingerie is Christmas.
Now, why a guy wants to spend so much money on stuff that their girl is only going to wear 5 minutes before it’s ripped off, is still a mystery to me. Plus, most of the time they don’t buy lingerie that fits her personality or that she would actually wear, but what they want to see her in.

If you do intend to buy your woman lingerie here are 2 hacks that you can thank me for later.

1) If still intend to go to Victoria’s Secret the best thing to do is see if your girl still has coupons lying around for free panty with purchase and without purchase. If not, then before you make your trip to the store make sure you see what type of panties she wears and what size she is- buy the style SHE wears.
1a) If she is into yoga, Pilates, and fitness, then buy her a sexy and useful sports bra- to top it off that MATCH a pair of panties. Think about how thoughtful she will think you are being.
2) IF you want to really impress her, go to Macy’s. There they have a section called Backstage. They sell panties of name brands for HALF off the price. Buy a 3 piece set, 5 piece set for under $25. Lacy, sexy, useful and not much money went into buying it.
Then go to CVS or Target and get empty boxes. Take them and places them 1 on top of another int he box. BOOM! She will be impressed and you will get sexy panties PLUS she can wear them whenever.

Now don’t forget to throw away the hanger the panties come on… you don’t want her to see it. Above are the Steve Madden Panties I bought myself for $14.99 compared to the $60 they cost. Then at VS I got a free panty to match a sports bra that really looks chic and comfy.

It’s all about showing her that you are thoughtful – remember it’s a gift for HER.

A Day In The Life Continues …

If you saw my previous post, “Exclusive BTS from a Girlboss” then you saw what it’s like being me. No two days are the same. I have posted other pictures on my Instagram feed and Twitter feed – showing you some other behind the scenes stuff.

I was all set to do another one but instead I decided to just talk frank with ya about what I am up too. There are many hats that I wear each day. Today for example I had a meeting with someone who is going to help my businesses succeed at a different level. The other day I had a meeting with someone who helped me organize some business ideas. Now what I need to do is a complete overhaul with my websites, blogs, shop, social media platforms and organize them appropriately so they all don’t run into each other. The only social media platform that will basically stay the same with the type of posting that I do will be Instagram – but I am changing up the Bio. I have separate IG accounts for books, which I don’t use that much, Cheer, which I don’t use that much and now my coffee IG account. I have a few Facebook fan pages that need an overhaul – completely and my shop on one of the Facebook pages along with my shop on 1 of my websites will be getting a complete makeover.

I just finished doing a photo-shoot at a fast food chain that I am representing on IG and will also put stuff on Twitter. Oh yes, My twitter bio needs to be redone as well plus I have other sites that I use to make money from that need to be organized to do 1-2 things not 5-6 things. What I notice is that when you overload customers with thousands of options they don’t purchase from you. Therefore you need to separate things and have certain sites do certain things.

Also, you need to have a strategy with everything you present online.

My podcast and my radio show has changed over time. It started as just talking about social media platforms and how they work and ideas for businesses to create engaging content and it exploded with talking about trends in the digital landscape , things everyone is talking about on social media, and athletes usage of social media ( which has become a top topic)

So today, I am doing my radio show “The Sassy Show” On my Facebook page at 3pm EST time, then spending quality time with my nephew, niece and brother (hopefully my sister-in-law too!) Tomorrow I have my networking meeting at 7am. I am the educational coordinator of the group. After that I have to set up Facebook content for clients and we have my mom’s retirement luncheon. Then I will take the rest of the day to myself.

Saturday and Sunday I will spend time organizing platforms, websites, and such. But I also will take time for myself. It is the summer time and you need to enjoy yourself. Monday it’s back to the grind.

There ya go folks. A behind the scenes in writing- not video or pictures. ( I though will post videos and pics on social media this weekend BTW)
